THE LEADING PET EMERGENCY CENTER IN NORTH DAKOTA AND WESTERN MINNESOTA

The Red River Animal Hospital and Referral Center (RRAEH) is here to provide a 24/7/365 open emergency care facility to help you and your pets receive immediate care and attention. Our facility is staffed with licensed veterinarians and veterinary technicians who are passionate about your pet’s health and are highly qualified in emergency medicine. We are attentive to effective communication between you and your pet throughout the process from evaluating their condition to their personalized treatment plan. With our high-quality diagnostics equipment, we are sure to determine the root cause of your pet’s condition and look forward to providing tender care to improve your pet’s health.

We are here to provide your pet with instant and exceptional medical care to take care of any type of emergency. Having North Dakota’s only board-certified emergency and critical care specialist on our team allows care providers at RRAEH to specifically determine your pet’s condition and individualize a treatment plan. As the region’s top-rated emergency facility, we are proud to be serving the local community by providing immediate aid to pets in an emergency.

WE’LL WORK CLOSELY WITH
YOUR PRIMARY VET

Once your pet is able to return home, we will refer you back to your own veterinarian for continued care, supplying them with all of the information we have gathered about your pet’s situation, plus the procedures and treatments we performed.

With image testing, we can rapidly find answers for a sick or injured pet. Our testing includes:

IN-HOUSE DIAGNOSTICS

At RRAEH, we have an in-house lab that outperforms when running bloodwork (CBC and chemistry panels) and extensive testing which includes blood gas analysis, coagulation testing (clotting times), ethylene glycol (anti-freeze) testing, canine and feline pancreatitis screening, parvovirus, FeLV/FIV and tick-disease screening just to name a few.
