WHAT TO EXPECT
Check-In
At check-in, our team will gather detailed information about your pet, including their symptoms and medical history. This helps us quickly diagnose and start the appropriate treatment, ensuring your pet receives prompt and effective care.
Triage
From serious injuries to ongoing illnesses, and from minor scrapes to the ingestion of foreign objects, we’re fully prepared to deal with any situation. Be advised that, like any emergency room, we see patients with the most acute needs first, regardless of when they check in. This may mean added wait time for less critical patients.
Diagnoses & Treatment
We are equipped and trained to diagnose your pet’s condition and provide you with a treatment plan or list of treatment options. If your pet requires hospitalization, we ask that your visits be kept short so as not to interfere with treatment. Phoning ahead to coordinate visitation times is appreciated.
VET REFERRALS
We partner with referring veterinarians to ensure seamless, collaborative care for patients through clear communication, transfer guidelines, and specialized support.
Follow-Up Care
Because we are an emergency animal hospital only, you will need to follow up with your regular veterinarian for ongoing care. We will transfer all pertinent information to your pet’s primary care provider.
End of Life Care
Euthanasia of a loved pet is always difficult. We understand this and offer compassionate, thoughtful care for pets and their families throughout this tough process.
